PCEA WEMA PARISH 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS SUNDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2024

PCEA WEMA PARISH 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

Message From The Parish Minister

Dear Beloved Brethren,
As we stand on the threshold of a decade of faith and fellowship, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and joy. It is a privilege to address you from the Parish Minister’s Desk on this momentous occasion. Our journey over the past ten years has been nothing short of miracles, a testament to the boundless grace and love bestowed upon us by our Heavenly Father. The inception of Wema Parish marked the beginning of a divine mission, one that has flourished under God’s watchful eye and nurturing hand.

Our theme, “You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.” (Psalm 92:4), resonates with the chorus of our hearts, echoing our profound appreciation for the countless blessings we have received. Your unwavering faith and dedication have been the cornerstone of our parish’s growth and success. Together, we have built a sanctuary of hope, a community bound by the shared love of Christ.

The path we have walked was paved with challenges, yet our collective resolve never wavered. Like King David, we too can proclaim, “If the LORD had not been on our side…” (Psalms 124:1), recognizing the divine intervention that has carried us through. I extend my deepest gratitude to each of you, our cherished elders, members, friends, and partners, for your sacrifices and love that have been the lifeblood of our parish. A special note of thanks goes to the devoted Church ministers whose service has been instrumental in our spiritual nourishment and holistic growth.

As we look to the future, let us reaffirm our commitment to serving the Lord with renewed vigor and devotion. “But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15). Let us continue to minister to one another with the love and compassion that reflect the heart of Christ, for “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” (Hebrews 6:10).

May the Almighty God shower His blessings upon us as we embark on the next chapter of our journey, serving Him with steadfast hearts.  May our lives be a living testimony to His glory and grace.

Blessings upon blessings,

Glory to God alone. (Soli Deo Gloria-Latin)

Shalom,

Rev. Paul M Wahome
