What is Spiritual Strength?
- Spiritual strength is the power of God working within you.
- Spiritual strength can be the ability to do things beyond human understanding.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJV
Here are the qualities that one needs to acquire Spiritual strength.
- Christianity Discipline
- Personal commitment
- Sacrifice
- Self-denial.
(Mathew 16:24-26), ” Take up your cross and follow me.”
WHY is Spiritual Strength important to a Christian?
- It enhances spiritual growth.
- It helps in the growth of faith.
- Our prayers are empowered.
- We become readers and meditators of the word of God. (Ephesians 3:14 -20)
- It gives us the ability to overcome trials and temptations in life.
James 1:12,” Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”(NKJV)
- We get assurance of God’s presence in life.
Isaiah 42:10, “Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you
who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, your islands, and all who live in them.” (NIV)
- Help us to stand firm against all the devil’s strategies.
